Sales Development Representative

Looking to get started in B2B SaaS Sales, with the opportunity to fast-track your career as we scale? Kapiche is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Sales Development Representative who will be the key driver of sales growth. We are looking for someone to knock this out the park and move up the ranks within our growing Go-To-Market Team.

How you will make an impact

You will be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities, concisely communicating the value of Kapiche to gain interest in a deeper conversation, developing a strong pipeline for Account Executives.

Intellectual curiosity will help you reach your goal to seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting, driving top-of-the-funnel lead generation. With training and scripts provided, you will explain our value prop and learn about the prospect’s business challenges to determine whether Kapiche will serve as a solution.

Working collaboratively within the Go-To-Market (GTM) Team, you will build and maintain an active pipeline of leads and early-stage prospects via methods of outreach; Cold calling, emailing etc. This will help you learn the ropes of sales and get exposure to all parts of the sales process. A keenly developed competitive nature and willingness to succeed will see you rewarded for consistently achieving weekly quotas and hold you in good stead to move into an Account Executive role quickly.

Key Responsibilities - what you will do

  • Work with the GTM Team to build and prioritise strategic target accounts across multiple business verticals in Australia.
  • Execute on calling those lists - Conducting a high volume of prospect discovery through cold calling and email.
  • Deeply understand and communicate the mission, value proposition, and benefit outcomes of Kapiche.
  • Lead high-level conversations with a consultative and human sales approach with key decision-makers with the view to book meetings for the Account Executive.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, following CRM best practices for note-taking, task assignment and execution.
  • Consistently achieve weekly/monthly quotas of active leads and qualified leads.

To be successful in ths role

  • You have at least 1 year of some kind of customer service / customer-facing experience.
  • You are a quick learner, hardworking and have a willingness to roll up your sleeves to “figure it out” and get the job done.
  • Open to coaching and comfortable with a feedback culture environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication and active listening skills - Our clients are typically Enterprise and C-Suite so you need to present well.
  • You have a very positive and energetic attitude in person and phone manner.
  • You have a track record of over-achieving (in or outside of work) and motivated to be a high performer.
  • Able to thrive in a startup environment - You will need to have the desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who will support but also challenge you to be better.
  • You have full working rights to Australia, without sponsorship.
  • Direct sales experience which would be advantageous but not essential.
