Kapiche is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our sales team who is looking for the opportunity to establish themselves as one of the best in their field selling SaaS.
We are looking for a highly ambitious and driven individual to play a pivotal role in the rapid growth of Kapiche. The role is focused on new business development where you will be part of a growing team responsible for driving revenue growth through consultative sales, nurturing the customer through a process of solution discovery to become a customer of Kapiche. Comfortable with generating your own new leads, you will position yourself as a trusted advisor, to deeply understand the prospects unique company challenges and goals, and be comfortable leading them through how our product works.
You will understand the critical importance of building a strong pipeline and take full accountability of it using metrics to monitor performance and understand results and key drivers of performance.
Ideally, an established Sales professional looking to grow and expand, you will have the opportunity to refine and develop our current sales methodology in collaboration with our team. Pipeline development - You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process through leads, discovery, qualification, validation, negotiation to closing deals.
Identify good fit prospects based on the long term goals of their business and alignment with Kapiche’s capabilities.
Obtain sample data from prospects and run jaw-dropping presentations and demonstrations using our software on their data.
Have a well-defined process for doing your own prospecting and qualification for target accounts.
You will know your own sales metrics (close rate %, win rates % etc) and feel empowered in an environment which has this metrics focus.
You have a solid background to fit this role; with 3 + year’s experience as a BDM, Sales or selling sophisticated B2B solutions ideally within SaaS.
You have a track record of over-achieving (top 10% of the company).
You thrive on generating new business and confident at prospecting for new business, using cold calling methods.
Experienced in using your strong negotiation and closing skills with C-suite or high-level stakeholders.
You present well, over the phone, face to face and via video conferencing to facilitate demonstrations to prospects with great oral and written communication skills to explain and influence.
Comfortable working in a face-paced, dynamic & collaborative environment.

You have a curiosity for the data and analytics space and a willingness to learn a lot about our product and industry.
